Thank you for visiting the Governor Wentworth Arts Council.
We have disbanded effective December 2024 as our missions have been fulfilled. Please scroll down to learn about who we were, what we accomplished, and see how to connect with our artists, other art organizations, and our non-profit arts-related partners.
ABOUT
The Governor Wentworth Arts Council enriched the Eastern Lakes Region for decades, providing support to artists and cultural organizations.
The Arts Council endeavored to bring impactful art-making experiences to the region, as well as exhibition and professional development opportunities across all artistic disciplines.
A group of artists, organizations, and arts supporters, GWAC was dedicated to improving the local cultural environment.
IMPACT
Throughout its decade of operations, GWAC provided a variety of community and professional programming throughout the greater Governor Wentworth region.

Programming included Arts in the Park, solo and group gallery exhibitions, Music at the Lake and more.
LASTING LEGACY
Given years of successful events and planning, GWAC will live on through every individual artist, student and supporter who participated in one of our arts programs.
GWAC MEMBER ARTIST DIRECTORY
While GWAC is no longer in operation, our Member Artists continue to create amazing original work. We encourage you to check out their talents and exhibits.
