and to assist local artists and craftspeople.

OUR HISTORY

Originally created in 1968 to bring arts programming into district schools, GWAC has expanded in scope.

Nancy Lane Piper, former GWAC President, and longtime art teacher has compiled a timeline of the Arts Council

from 1968 to 2013.
