About the event
Join artist and contemplative facilitator, Kenzie Raulin, for this 2-day workshop that explores creativity, and community through contemplative artmaking. The workshop will be a judgment-free contemplative exploration, tapping into our individual desire to create and make. We are giving you a safe space to experiment with a variety of materials and create with new insight.
You will have literary prompts, designed as springboards for the visual. We will work with a variety of materials, acrylic, watercolor, collage, clay, pastel, etc., all of which will be provided. Some portions of the workshop will focus on collaboration, joining together to create and check-in.
Light refreshments and beverages will be available during the workshop. On Saturday and Sunday there will be midday lunch breaks. You are encouraged to pack a lunch or visit one of the many nearby restaurants. No previous art experience is necessary, only the desire to open up to new things. You must be aged 18 or older to register.
General event schedule:
Day 1: 9AM-4PM Saturday May 18
Day 2: 9AM-4PM Sunday May 19
Further event details including comprehensive schedule provided to participants ahead of retreat.

Testimonials from past Kindling Creativity Workshops:
“Having us journal for timed intervals was a wonderful way to give us space to process – to absorb concepts, to deepen understanding – and then move forward. The idea of the creativity timeline is a brand new thought for me – and I'm amazed at the ways that helpful ideas are blooming from it. “
