Paper Cut Collage with Bob De Mario

On Saturday, February 4, 2023, from 10am to noon in the Bradley Room at the Wolfeboro Public Library, join longtime GWAC artist, Bob De Mario, for a free members-only workshop! Space is limited and all materials will be provided.

During this workshop, GWAC Members will learn all the aspects of creating a basic design in Cut-Paper. Participants will begin by designing a composition of basic shapes using magic markers. After transferring their design to tracing paper, which will act as a template, they will cut and paste layers of construction paper shapes on Bristol board, creating their own cut-paper collage to take home. All materials will be provided.

Robert De Mario studied to be an illustrator and received his BFA at the College of New Rochelle, NY in 1977. He worked in the commercial advertising field for many years where his designs were placed on greeting cards, mugs, and all forms of marketing products. Bob has sold and exhibited his 3D artwork and collage art in South Hampton, Long Island, NY, Rockport MA, Full Circle Gallery, Cornish ME and is presently shown at the Kalled Gallery and The Art Place in Wolfeboro, NH. The artist currently specializes in cut-paper collage.
